FIELD: mechanical engineering; material handling facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrooptical checking of containers, namely, to method and device for revealing commercial changes in containers in process of its transportation by line conveyor. Proposed device for successive checking of containers passing along line conveyor contains feeding device arranged over conveyor for moving off container in transverse direction at least partially from conveyor, stop, optical means for checking container at its turning in process of movement along said stop and unloading device for returning container back on conveyor. Feeding device contains first endless drive belt with longitudinal section parallel to conveyor and feeding part hanging over conveyor and arranged at acute angle in direction of conveyor movement for but-joining with container and installed for successive passing along conveyor, first motor to drive first belt for at least partially moving off container from conveyor in transverse direction. Stop is located opposite to first belt for butt-joining with container installed for moving off from conveyor by feeding device in process of movement along stop and its turning at engagement between first belt and container stop. Unloading device is located near stop for successively catching and returning container back to conveyor. According to proposed method of checking of container moving along line conveyor at first speed according to which first belt set into motion by motor and handling over conveyor is positioned to move off container from conveyor in transverse direction with thrusting against stop, container is transported between first belt and stop at second speed exceeding first speed at simultaneously turning the container, and optical checking of container is performed at higher speed after which container is moved off successively between second and third belts set into motion by motors and returned back to conveyor at speed corresponding to first speed.
EFFECT: improved reliability of method and device, increased service life, enlarged operating capabilities.
