FIELD: rocket fuels.
SUBSTANCE: invention provides a method for manufacturing charge of mixed solid rocket fuel firmly fastened to rocket engine body, which comprises formation of charge at temperature below hardening temperature and hardening of charge under pressure. The latter is performed by stepwise varying heat carrier temperature, for which charge is first, during 5-15% of the total hardening time, is hardened at temperature by 10-25оС superior to temperature of the next hardening step and then it is hardened at 60-80оС and finally cooled. In the course of cooling operation, average-volume charge temperature is controlled at deliberately chosen points of time and heat carrier temperature is changed choosing its values by 3-10оС below average-volume charge temperature. At the time point when this temperature achieves value by 2-5оС below equilibrium temperature of charge, feeding of heat carrier is stopped and pressing-out follows.
EFFECT: ensured integrity of charge during pressing-out.
