FIELD: rocket engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention refers to technology of formation of charges of blended solid rocket fuel by die-casting method in continuous mixer. Process of manufacture of charges of blended solid rocket fuel involves preparation of fuel mass by mixing components in continuous mixer, formation of charges by die-casting method. Several batches of charges are manufactured. In accordance with first variant of manufacturing process fuel mass is cooled during technological interruption to temperature of conservation, formation of next batch of charges is started before time of twofold rise of viscosity expires. In correspondence with second variant of manufacture of charges of blended solid rocket fuel remaining fuel mass of previous composition is unloaded from mixer prior to achievement of minimal steady-state load of drive of mixers in going to formation of batch of charges with changed composition on basis of same binder. Remaining fuel mass is unloaded from mixer and components for preparation of fuel mass of changed composition are loaded into mixer to 1/4-1/3 of volume of full load of mixer, are mixed with remaining fuel mass and obtained mass is removed for annihilation, then next batch of charges of changed composition is manufactured. Invention is aimed at development of process of manufacture of charges of blended solid rocket fuel making it feasible to improve quality of produced fuel, to shorten time losses, to reduce usage of starting and other materials.
