FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, equipment for tight connection of steel pipes having inner protective corrosion-resistant coat, in particular, petroleum and petroleum product transportation pipelines.

SUBSTANCE: cylindrical sleeve is fabricated from glass-reinforced plastic and is equipped with central channel arranged at mid portion of sleeve. Central channel is filled with fireproof composition and retainers are uniformly distributed at circle center and fixed by epoxy compound. Two channels are arranged at each side of central channel. Elastic sealing members, such as collars, are located in said two channels. Collars closer to central channel are arranged for axial displacement and engagement with elastic member, such as spring fabricated from metal possessing memory properties. Spring is positioned along sleeve perimeter on the top of fireproof composition between retainers. Self-hardening sealant is placed between collars. Outer diameter of elastic sealing members is total of inner diameter of pipes to be connected and allowance for said diameter, and outer diameter of sleeve is equal to minimal inner diameter of pipes to be welded.

EFFECT: reduced labor intensity of system connection process.
