FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises a bushing, a stop surface for the butts of pipes to be welded into a pipeline, located in the central part of the outer bushing surface, elastic seals placed on the outer bushing surface symmetrically from the stop surface. The bushing is made of rolled metal, with butts flared sloping outwardly, and in front of each butt sloping outward an elastic seal in the form of a gland with a corresponding profile cross section, made of oil and petrol resistant rubber is put on the bushing, then - a ring of metal of rectangular profile, welded to the bushing and limiting the longitudinal offset of the gland along the bushing toward its center, and between the rings - fireproof insulation of silica fabric, at which a mesh is fixed, formed of two identical tapes made from thin-sheet rolled metal, with laterally projecting lobes and welded together. The tape butts are spot-welded to the appropriate rings and the opposed butts are bent perpendicular to the outer surface of the bushing and form the stop surface for the butts of pipes to be welded in a pipeline on the bushing surface. Over the mesh along the entire length of the bushing, a fireproof tape is fixed. The bushing in assembly with the rings is coated with anti-corrosive coating.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the internal welded pipeline joint protection both in manufacturing of a pipeline and in its operation by means of forming the even heat distribution throughout the whole volume of the bushing and in its butt parts located in pipes to be welded, which excludes burn-through in the bushing at the points of welding the pipe butts and ensures the preservation of its protective properties.
