FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to antirust protection of the welds of pipelines with internal coating. In compliance with proposed method support sleeve is fitted in pipe weld zone to make the weld. Said support sleeve consists of inner sleeve from antirust steel and outer sleeve from carbon or low-alloy steels. Said inner and outer sleeves are connected by permanent joint. Note here that inner sleeve length exceeds that of outer sleeve. Sealant is applied on inner sleeve extending ends prior to fitting the support sleeve in place. Support sleeve is welded to pipe via outer sleeve at making the pipeline weld.
EFFECT: decreased contraction of pipeline at welds, higher protection against corrosion, simplified assembly.
