FIELD: emergency alarm.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to methods and systems determining position by comparison of several found bearing taken in one system of coordinates, specifically, to procedures testing condition of protected objects, both mobile and immobile. Technique diminishes time of search for mobile protected object. Final position of mobile object emitting alarm signal is found by more exact bearings on it from N direction finders which are later computed by formula
where j = 1,…N; i = 1,…S; S is immobile protected objects nearest to mobile object; are errors of bearings; and are true bearings by known coordinates and by examined signal of test of i-th immobile object from j-th direction finder; is weight coefficient of error.
EFFECT: enhanced precision of location of position is provided thanks to due account of bearing errors.
