FIELD: electrical and power engineering; industrial static electricity and power generation; electric vehicle power supplies.

SUBSTANCE: electrostatic generator has rotor assembled of several smooth-surface plastic disks with metal foil strips press-fitted into side surfaces on both ends; disks are made in the form of multiple-pointed star with open ends in center electrically connected to commutator and mounted on hollow driving shaft kinematically coupled with driven shaft; they are rotating on shaft in turn and jointly in different directions and at minimal relative distance between dielectric excitation brushes and metal static-electricity takeoff terminal strips electrically connected to commutator. Rotation of disks in different directions is ensured by driven shaft kinematically coupled with driving shaft by figure-of-eight belt transmission with pulleys of disks revolving on driving shaft.

EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reliability, enlarged functional capabilities, simplified design.
