FIELD: medicine, surgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should carry out native nephrectomy by keeping large ureter's stump. Vessels of donor's organ should be anastomosed with recipient's vessels. Circulation in the transplant should be restored. Then permeability of ureter's stump should be determined. For this purpose one should apply physiological solution into catheter connected with the stump of native ureter at constant velocity. Simultaneously, it is necessary to measure the pressure in the stump. At pressure up to 150 mm water column it is necessary to disconnect catheter and apply anastomosis between transplant's pelvis renalis and the stump of native ureter. At the pressure of 150-300 mm water column before disconnecting catheter it is necessary to treat ureter's stump. The method improves results of renal transplantation due to improved renal function.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of prophylaxis.
