URETER TRANSPLANTATION METHOD IN KIDNEY ALLOTRANSPLANTATION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/11 

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to transplantology. Performing the surgical approach, formation of the tunnel between layers of the urinary bladder wall. Ureter is passed through the tunnel with its fixation to the bladder wall. Ureter is drawn into bladder lumen and fixed in stretched position. When performing access to the retroperitoneal region, cystoscopy is performed, and then the CO₂ is injected into the urinary bladder in amount of 150–250 cm^3. Before formation of the tunnel between layers of the bladder wall, its mucosa is dissected from the inside within the bottom area from the access side, haemostasis is performed, CO₂ is injected into urinary bladder to maintain its volume of 150–250 cm³. After the donor kidney's ureter is pulled into the bladder cavity, the kidney is stretched, a stent is placed in the urinary tracts of the donor kidney, ureter wall is incised along dorsal surface in lengthwise direction at distance of 0.7–1.5 cm from the edge, and the mucous membrane of ureter of renal transplant is stretched and fixed to bladder mucosa in two diametrically opposite points of the edge of dissected wall of ureter, then, injection of CO₂ in urinary bladder and drained.

EFFECT: method provides tightness, prevents formation of conditions for disturbed feeding of ureter's wall trophism and narrowing of anastomosis, allows to achieve essential improvement of life quality of the patients suffering kidney transplantation.
