FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves forming superficial scleral flap. The Schlemm's canal outer wall and juxtacanalicular tissue is cut out and removed. Trabecula is sutured three times with a suture. The superficial scleral flap is sutured. The trabecular suture threads are withdrawn in 2-3 weeks.
EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness in reducing intraocular pressure by creating trans trabecular path for discharging intraocular fluid.
