FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: the invention pertinent to separation of wood materials in an electrostatic field by gummosity and may be used in woodworking industry for fractionation with the different contents of rosin. Technical result is an increase of efficiency of the separation process. For a reinforcement of effect of the separation of wood materials by gummosity, the materials are previously charged by negative charges. The charging of the materials is conducted on a conveyor in the process of their feeding into the electrostatic field of the separator. For this purpose the conveyor is made out of a copper flexible grid and fused to a negative electrode. Above the conveyor at height of 20 cm there is a metal plate connected with a positive electrode.
EFFECT: the invention allows to increase efficiency of the separation process.
