HYDROCYCLONE SEPARATION INSTALLATION Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2231636 C2

FIELD: oil-producing industry.

SUBSTANCE: the invention presents a hydrocyclone separating installation and is dealt with to systems of gathering

and preparation of petroleum at oil fields. A problem of the invention is to increase productivity of the installation and to ensure preliminary separation and withdrawal of water. The installation contains: a technological container, a hydrocyclone installed at the input of crude oil into the technological container, a pipeline for to deliver crude oil through a hydrocyclone into the technological container, pipelines for the gas and oil withdrawal from the technological container, a pipeline for water withdrawal from the technological container. The lower part of the technological container is divided by partitions into zones: a zone of accumulation and withdrawal of water, a central sedimentation zone and a zone of accumulation and withdrawal of petroleum. The hydrocyclone is installed in the central sedimentation zone of the technological container so, that a tangential input is below the container, holes for gas discharge from the hydrocyclone are located in the upper part of the technological container in the zone of gas accumulation and withdrawal, holes for withdrawal of water from the hydrocyclone are located in the central sedimentation zone At that the central connecting pipe for withdrawal of petroleum from the hydrocyclone is connected to the zone of accumulation and withdrawal of petroleum. The partition separating the sedimentation zone from the zone of accumulation and withdrawal of water has a channel for overflow of the separated water into the zone of accumulation and withdrawal of water. The partition separating the sedimentation zone from the zone of accumulation and withdrawal of petroleum is installed with an opportunity for the separated petroleum to overflow through it into the zone of accumulation and separated petroleum of petroleum.

EFFECT: the invention allows to increase productivity of the installation and to ensure preliminary separation and withdrawal of water.
