USE OF CONTACT LENSES IN TREATMENT OF OPHTHALMOLOGICAL VIOLATION Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61F9/13

Abstract RU 2647783 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology, and can be used in selection of contact lenses for treatment of one or more ophthalmic disorders, such as presbyopia, induced myopia, computer vision syndrome (CVS), inadequate accommodation or violations associated with insufficient accommodation. Contact lens may include several regions having different geometries (e.g., curvature, width, diameter), depending on the most flat keratonomy of the cornea, to achieve a suitable fit. Contact lens may include an optical zone surrounded by an inner peripheral region and an outer peripheral region surrounding the inner peripheral region, each having different degrees of curvature. During installation, a suitable amount of fluid can accumulate between the cornea of the eye and the contact lens. In addition, the lens can have a sufficient amount of apical lumen with such a calculation, so that when the user flashes, the lens does not move more than 1 mm in the eye. In addition, the lens and eye can have such a mutual structure, so as to prevent the formation of bubbles more than 0.5 mm in diameter between the contact lens and the eye. Contact lens may be used in combination with a suitable bioactive agent providing improved vision correction.

EFFECT: proposed group of inventions provides possibility for a long time non-invasive effective treatment of these ophthalmic disorders due to the gradual rearrangement of the shape of the cornea, due to a certain method of lens selection.
