FIELD: electrical engineering; ac electric rolling stock with thyristor converters.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device contains traction transformer with load connected to its secondary winding, primary winding of transformer being coupled with supply circuit, reactive power source, network conditions sensor, synchronization pulse unit, control unit and pulse-phase control unit, two integrators and multiplier. Reactive power source is connected to secondary winding of traction transformer and it consists of two LC-circuits, each formed by series-connected inductance coil, capacitor and switch element made in form of antiparallel connected thyristors. Device has control unit whose output is connected with second input of pulse-phase control unit coupled by outputs with thyristors of switch elements of reactive power source and two integrators. Input of first integrator is connected to voltage transformer output, and output is connected to first input of multiplier whose second input is connected with output of current transformer. One input of second integrator is connected to output of multiplier, and second one, to output of synchronization pulse unit. Output of integrator is connected with second input of control unit.
EFFECT: provision of compensation of reactive power at any form of rod supply voltage.
