FIELD: chemistry; physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a radio transparent composite materials. High-thermal resistance radiotransparent inorganic fibre-glass is based on a phosphate binder and glazed fibrous filler. Glass fabric is first coated with a protective coating. Protective coating is non-organic coating, applied on fabric by means of a sol-gel technology from saturated aqueous solutions of aluminium and/or chromium salts. Binder used is an aqueous suspension, consisting of phosphate binder with corundum micropowder 5–10 %, an aqueous slurry of quartz glass with polydisperse grain composition of solid phase 0.1–100 mcm in an amount of 50–55 % and alkaline silica in amount of 35–40 %. After moulding and hardening at temperature 300–400 °C material also strengthened once or multiple times (3–5 times) by impregnation with saturated aqueous solution of aluminium salts and (or) chromium salts with subsequent drying and heat treatment at temperature 500–700 °C.
EFFECT: increased functionality of finishing film, reduction of acidity of suspension applied on glass fabric.
