FIELD: equipment for thermal units; furnaces for burning solid domestic wastes.
SUBSTANCE: proposed heat removal jacket is secured on inner walls of thermal units such as furnaces for burning solid domestic wastes. Proposed jacket is made from copper and steel plates soldered together over ribs located on inner surface of copper plate, thus forming passages and ribbed surface; passages extend to recesses located on opposite sides of this plate forming collectors together with inner surface of steel plate; outer surface of copper plate is provided with layer of protective coat; collectors of jacket are connected with cooling agent inlet and outlet branch pipes; inner surface of copper plate is provided with rib which is closed over periphery; recesses for inlet and outlet of passages have varying width; widened parts of these recesses are located diametrically; inner surface of steel plate is provided with groove which is closed over contour and is engageable with peripheral rib of copper plate, as well as grooves forming ribbed surface and engageable with ribs of copper plate; outlets of these grooves form smooth sections of varying width on both sides of plate; shape and location of these sections are identical to recesses found on copper plate; widened sections of these sections have holes of different diameters with axes perpendicular to it; connected to these holes on outer side of plate are branch pipes; connection is made mainly by welding; cooling agent outlet branch pipe is connected to hole of larger diameter and inlet branch pipe is connected to hole of lesser diameter.
EFFECT: maximum removal of heat from hot gases; enhanced protection and cooling of inner surface of unit; increased service life of cooling jacket.
