FIELD: manufacture of heat removing caissons used in melting aggregates, namely in furnaces for burning solid waste for cooling their walls and crowns at condition of high temperature and aggressive media.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of making parallel ducts on surface of copper plate for forming ribbed surface in such a way that ducts are open to recesses in opposite sides of copper plate; making on inner surface of steel plate grooves forming ribbed surface and having width corresponding to that of rib of copper plate; providing smooth opening of said grooves on plane of plate and forming at opposite sides smooth portions whose shape and arrangement are identical to those of recesses of copper plate; applying onto outer surface of copper plate layer of protective coating, for example of chrome-nickel coating; placing solder in grooves of steel plate; at assembling inserting ribs of copper plate to respective grooves of steel plate with gaps; soldering under load in pack having at least two plates.
EFFECT: increased useful life period of ready caissons operating at high temperatures.
