FIELD: signaling devices.
SUBSTANCE: method of generating early warning signals about icy conditions of roads involves using automatic measuring stations equipped with probes for weather investigations and determining freezing point of liquid present on road; creating and using virtual stations to which data including information about weather and freezing temperature and other parameters are translated from automatic measuring station for generating warning signal about icy conditions of roads for virtual stations.
EFFECT: increased information reliability, widened coverage of road network.
