FIELD: mechanical engineering, in particular, equipment for sucking dust-laden air and foreign matter in the process of displacement over surface to be cleaned.
SUBSTANCE: suction unit has casing with suction aperture for sucking of dust-laden air and foreign matter from surface to be cleaned by means of suction force created through actuation of drive engine, and fabric member made in the form of disk and adapted for removal of foreign matter stuck to said surface. Fabric member is positioned adjacent to suction aperture for rotation on bottom of suction unit casing. Fabric member is rotated inside casing of suction unit by means of rotational drive. Casing has first suction channel arranged in front part of suction unit casing bottom and adapted for admission of dust-laden air through it. Owing to elastic member arranged on casing front edge and adapted for serving as impact damping means, wear-resistance is increased in case of collisions with outer obstacles. Covering for fabric member is positioned in suction unit casing for protecting of fabric side member edge contacting with surface under treatment process.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved safety for user.
