FIELD: items of personal use.

SUBSTANCE: dust head is meant for a vacuum cleaner and contains an air intake with two side parts and spray nodes dismissing currents of outside air in the central part of one side of the air intake by way of an air curtain basically perpendiculary to the direction of the air current intaken throught the air intake from the side parts, thus preventing collision of air currents coming into the air intake from both side parts. The spray nodes direct the air from one side of the dust head to the front side wall or back side wall of the air intake and contain an inlet port situated in the dust head, a blow opening made on the front side wall or back side wall of the inlet port and a connecting port by which means the inlet port communicates with the outlet port. Fluent aspiration of the outside air into spray nodes and dismissing it from them by way of an air curtain preventing collision of air currents coming from both side parts allows to reduce the noise in the air inlet of the dust head.

EFFECT: reduction of noise during use of a vacuum cleaner.
