FIELD: medicine, ophthalmology.
SUBSTANCE: one should make a conjunctival incision, form a surface scleral rectangular fragment with its bottom against limbus being 1/3 against scleral thickness. Two P-shaped fragments should be formed as folds with their bottom outwards to be folded outwards by rolling them up in half. One should then form a deep scleral rectangular fragment with its bottom towards limbus for 1/3 scleral thickness, anterior chamber should be lanced to carry out basal iridectomy. Surface scleral fragment should be applied with its free side into angular incision of anterior chamber, and deep scleral fragment - above surface one. The method provides additional ways for outflow of intraocular liquid.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of operation.
