FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: conjunctival pocket is formed in the upper half of the eyeball, a U-shaped scleral flap is cut out base to the scleral sulcus. A deep scleral flap of a triangular shape is cut out within the borders of the scleral bed without exposing the ciliary body. A hole of a triangular shape is formed by excision of its part. Basal iridectomy, anterior chamber opening, deep scleral flap insertion with location of its sliced part opposite the basal iridoectomy are performed.
EFFECT: method allows to open the anterior chamber angle and form a scleral tunnel, which restores normal circulation of the intraocular fluid and stable compensation of intraocular pressure.
