FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is dealt with non-ferrous metallurgy and may be used in the current-carrying anodic device of the aluminum electrolyzer. The technical result is an increase of strength and durability of the device, and also a decrease of the voltage drop in the contact piece - a connector block - the rod. The anodic device of the aluminum electrolyzer contains the aluminum buss with a connector block and a metal rod made of monolithic steel The connector block is made bimetallic out of aluminum and copper with depth of a copper layer of 1.2-1.5 ,which is connected with the aluminum layer by an explosion welding along the whole radius and on the sites of the connector block slopes, where the width of a copper layer is no less than 0.6 of the width of a slope.
EFFECT: an increase of strength and durability of the device, a decrease of the voltage drop in the contact piece - a connector block - the rod.
