SUBSTANCE: proposed device is connected among plurality of connection units to trunk lines; these units are connected to time division multiplex network and to asynchronous transmission mode (ATM) connection unit connected to ATM network; ATM pulse conversion unit functions to convert trunk data which are entered through trunk line connection units in ATM pulse and the latter is inputted in ATM connection unit or converts ATM pulse arriving from ATM connection unit into trunk data which are entered in trunk line connection units.
EFFECT: enhanced quantity of trunk lines received at same data transfer speed.
