FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to rolling stock brakes. Magnetic circuits with winding are placed inside housing. Each magnetic circuit is formed by two L-shaped cores to which pole shoes are connected. Winding encircles yokes of magnetic circuits being made of separate coils placed on yoke of magnetic circuits to create magnetic fluxes closing in cross direction for each magnetic circuit and in longitudinal direction relative to direction of train running for entire system of magnetic circuits. Initial leads of coils arranged longitudinal on yokes of first half of magnetic circuits are connected to plus terminal of dc voltage source and their end leads, to minus terminal of source. Initial leads of coils arranged in longitudinal direction on yoke of second half of magnetic circuits are connected to minus terminal of dc voltage source and their end leads, to plus terminal of source.
EFFECT: increased attraction between brake and rail at decreased time of preparation.
