FIELD: medicine, experimental surgery.

SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with destroying the integrity of a bone and introducing an activator and infecting material through an opening into medullary canal. For maintaining inflammatory process an activator should be introduced via a through opening and the angle of 60 deg. against canal's axis, moreover, as an activator one should apply a surgical Kirschner's needle, as for infecting material, it should be injected into the site where a needle and medullary canal's axis are crossed through an additional opening in bony cortical layer. The method enables to create an adequate model of infected bony wound, maintain osteomyelitic process to last for so long period to be necessary to study and evaluate objectively the process, obtain means and methods for its treatment and gives an opportunity for applying an experimental trauma onto animal's limb at minimal static loading while animal is moving.
