FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed current collector carriage contains base with hinge-mounted uprights on which current-collecting elements are mounted. Current-collecting inserts are interconnected by flexible tie made of current-conduction material. Uprights are furnished with levers installed at angle of 90o to axis of upright proper, thus forming bell crank. Levers can be adjusted in length being interconnected by springs. Stops are installed on base from both sides of spring. In process of operation, current-collecting elements are in contact with current conductor. Carriage of current collector is made so that uprights form parallelogram by hinge joints, and current-collecting elements execute plane-parallel motion.
EFFECT: improved reliability of carriage.
