FIELD: manufacture of building materials; manufacture of heat-resistant binders.
SUBSTANCE: active alumina is produced by roasting aluminum hydroxide Al(OH)3 at temperature of partial dehydration; roasting is performed at temperature of 600-800 C and specified rate of heating of 200-250 C/h; immediately after roasting, material is subjected to cooling. Heat-resistant binder contains partially dehydrated aluminum oxide and calcium aluminates; aluminum hydroxide contains and high-alumina cement is taken as calcium aluminate at the following relationship of components. mass-%:partially dehydrated aluminum hydroxide, 40-80; high-alumina cement, 20-60. Content of in aluminum hydroxide ranges from 30 to 50% by mass.
EFFECT: accelerated solidification of binder; enhanced strength.
