ANTENNA Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

Abstract RU 2234172 C1

FIELD: superwide-band radiolocation, radiomonitoring, and metrology.

SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna has first and second main equal-size parallel metal plates and input transmission-line section. First and second main metal plates are disposed in top and bottom semi-planes relative to third coordinate plane. Nonlinear mechanisms of changes in second side edge of each main metal plate, as well as mechanisms of changes in first side edge of these plates are given in description of invention. Antenna may be made as that printed on insulating material. Antenna may be provided with metal directive radiators as well as E- and H-plane metal screens whose adjacent side edges on longitudinal axis of antenna are electrically interconnected.

EFFECT: reduced level of side lobes and field-component cross-polarization.
