FIELD: super-broadband microwave antennas for phased antenna arrays, radars, radio control, and metrology. SUBSTANCE: antenna has first and second metal plates electrically connected to respective first and second additional metal plates, and input transmission line section whose central and ground conductors are connected to strip and to second additional metal plate, respectively. First and second metal plates are expanding obeying nonlinear law described by exponential function from first coordinate surface towards second one. Outer side edges of first and second metal plates reside on respective straight line; continuation of each of these lines from first coordinate plane to third one up to point of intersection with third coordinate plane form acute angle. Notch in the form of truncated Cassinian oval is made in upper semi-plane of metal plate; in lower semi-plane surface is shaped by mating truncated notch with side edge of nonlinear surface. First additional metal plate is mirror image of second additional metal plate. EFFECT: enhanced matching level throughout entire frequency band at high critical power and low cross-polarization level of field components. 18 cl, 25 dwg
