FIELD: superbroad-band microwave antennas; phased arrays of communication, radar, radio control, and metrological systems.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna 1 that incorporates provision for shaping linear phase-frequency characteristic has first and second basic metal plates 2 and 3, respectively, and input transmission line section 4 connected to first side edge 8 of second basic metal plate 3. Surfaces of first and second basic metal plates 2 and 3 are expanding on first side edges 8 along longitudinal axis 7. First side edge 8 of first basic metal plate 2 on length from first coordinate surface 10 to second coordinate surface 11 and first side edge 8 of second basic metal plate 3 on length from first coordinate surface 10 to third coordinate surface 12 are disposed on third coordinate plane 6. Installed between second coordinate surface 11 and third coordinate surface 12 below third coordinate plane is impedance subreflector made in the form of metal plate disposed in plane of second basic metal plate 3 with clearance 14 in-between.
EFFECT: reduced backward and side radiation level and cross-polarization component of electric field.
