FIELD: double-component elliptically polarized super-broadband antennas operating in microwave range.
SUBSTANCE: antenna has first main and additional metal plates and second main and additional plates of equal size, as well as input and additional transmission lines. Surfaces of first and second main metal plates are mounted in parallel with second coordinate plane and are disposed in upper and lower semi-planes relative to third coordinate plane; surfaces of first and second additional metal plates are installed in parallel with third coordinate plate like first and second main metal plates relative to second coordinate plate, respectively. Surfaces of metal plates on first length from first coordinate surface to first coordinate plane are expanding and on second length input transmission lines are connected to respective metal plates.
EFFECT: enhanced matching level of linear phase-frequency response at low cross-polarization level of field component.
