Abstract RU 2182392 C1

FIELD: superbroad-band microwave antennas; phased arrays for communication and radar systems, metrology. SUBSTANCE: antenna has first and second metal plates, first and second additional metal plates electrically connected to respective metal plates, and input transmission line section whose central and ground conductors are connected to side edges of first and second metal plates, respectively. First and second metal plates expand obeying nonlinear law described by exponential function from input transmission line section towards first and second side edges, respectively. Second additional metal plate has one notch on its bottom semi-plane surface in the form of truncated Cassini oval such as ellipse-shaped oval, and on its top semi-plane it is formed by joining truncated Cassini oval with nonlinear-surface side edge. First additional metal plate is made in the form of metal strip. Antenna provides for high matching level throughout entire operating frequency range often at high level of maximal power and low level of cross-polarized field component. EFFECT: enlarged operating frequency range. 6 cl, 9 dwg
