FIELD: umbrella construction.

SUBSTANCE: umbrella carcass has movable unit put onto rod for sliding along it in order to unfold and fold umbrella web. Stop member has fixing end positioned for sliding in slot made in movable unit and for protruding inward with respect to movable unit while being in sliding contact with guide on rod projection. Fixing end is positioned for sliding over upper edge of projection and for fixation on step, when movable unit is urged to move to engagement position. Movable unit is embraced with sleeve member, which is movable relative to movable unit. Sleeve inner surface is equipped with profiled portion adapted for biasing of fixing end downward in radial direction by applying frictional force facilitating retaining of movable unit in engagement position.

EFFECT: simplified construction and assembling, and convenient usage.
