FIELD: medicine, neurosurgery.
SUBSTANCE: one should perforate the bottom of the third ventricle within premalar membrane. Moreover, one should fill in a line-canal in cerebral substance with rectangular Takho-Comb plate at its length being equal to that of a line-canal and width of 6 cm. By width the plate should be folded as dense tube with its adhesive part outwards. The tube should be introduced for the whole depth of the canal to be squeezed tightly to its walls. Then one should cut out 2 plates of 2.5 x 2.5 cm and 3.0 x 3.0 cm to seal the canal hermetically at cerebral surface: At first comes smaller plate with its adhesive part onto cerebral surface to be covered with larger plate.
EFFECT: decreased number of postoperational complications.
