FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely methods and apparatuses for making powder materials on base of chips of hot forming process.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of performing crossing type cold pressing by two stages: axial pressing and cross pressing in direction normal relative to axial pressing direction; sintering, heating and cross hot forming of blank; after axial pressing impregnating porous ship blanks in 10% solution of boric acid.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of low-porosity hot formed chip-made materials.
