FIELD: metallurgy; technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: shavings of low-melt material are filled into die-mold at amount of 26-48 wt % and preliminary pressing is performed at pressure of 600-620 MPa. Then iron powder is filled and a final pressing is carried out at 260-620 MPa producing two-layer blank. The produced blank is sintered in a glass melt and simultaneously impregnated with a low-melt material.
EFFECT: method facilitates increasing amount of utilised shavings and decreasing prime cost of produced materials.
