SUBSTANCE: method include dressing the left grinding wheel, movement of the dressing tool, and dressing the right grinding wheel. The device has housing provided with mechanisms for longitudinal and transverse movement of the dressing tool and support with left, right and central pillars. The movement of the dressing tool is provided by unlocking of the housing from the mechanisms of the longitudinal and transverse movements of the dressing tool from the left pillar to the support, rotation of the housing around the axis of the central pillar in the opposite direction and its locking on the right pillar of the support. The pillars have slots, and the housing has two projections on its faces. The housing is mounted on the central pillar of the support for rotation to the left and to the right, and securing to the left and right pillars.
