FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a nucleic acid construct as well as a chimeric protein for polypeptide localization in a chloroplast. Also a transgenic plant cell, a transgenic plant, a part thereof, a seed and a cell tissue culture containing the above chimeric protein are disclosed. The invention also relates to a method for production of a transgenic plant material that expresses polypeptide in chloroplasts.
EFFECT: invention allows effective expression of a polypeptide in a chloroplast.
