FIELD: medicine, pediatrics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for early preclinical diagnosis of lowering reactive-protective potential in children of juvenile age. Method involves determination of amount of leukocytes, lymphocytes, monocytes, neutrophiles in peripheral blood. The coefficient of cellular-phagocytic protection (CPPC) is calculated by the following formula: CPPC = (specific weight of band neutrophyles + segmentated neutrophyles + monocytes) : total amount of leukocytes. The specific immune lymphocytic-monocytic index (SILMI) is calculated by the following formula: SILMI = (specific weight of lymphocytes + monocytes) : total amount of leukocytes. Obtained values of all indices are compared with their critical values depending on age and sex. Lowering the reactive-protective potential of body is diagnosed in values of indices lower of critical values. Method provides carrying out the objective estimation of protective potential of juvenile body, state and risk in disturbance of its health in minimal time consumptions, without using expensive special immunological investigations.
