FIELD: microwave engineering; all-round-looking radars using phase or combined ways of taking bearings in azimuth and elevation.
SUBSTANCE: proposed antenna system that provides for shaping several uniform directivity patterns in azimuthal plane which in their turn cover each other in vertical (elevation) plane filling up top hemisphere and eliminating blanking of directivity patterns by exciting devices and power feeders has set of upper radiator and N pairs of radiators disposed along vertical axis, where N is integer number greater than 0. Exciters of each of N pairs or radiator set are in mirror symmetry relative to horizontal plane crossing center between radiators of pair in the form of coaxial line sections shorted out on one end, their other end being connected through taper to edges of holes in disks, outer edges of disks being connected to circular horns.
EFFECT: provision for instant scanning of top hemisphere and measurement of target coordinates.
