FIELD: medicine, in particular, traumatology and orthopedics.
SUBSTANCE: bone fixation system has connecting support with at least one through opening, and at least one osteosynthesis screw located in through opening, seating surfaces of connecting support and osteosynthesis screw providing for their mutual orientation at different angles, and device for fixing osteosynthesis screw at predetermined angle with respect to connecting support. Said device has threaded connection arranged under seating surfaces of osteosynthesis screw and connecting support and formed upon screwing of osteosynthesis screw at predetermined angle owing to deformation by thread preliminarily cut under at least one of said seating surfaces. As a version, bone fixation system may comprise connecting support made in the form of osteosynthesis nail with at least one through opening. In this case, nail is adapted for connecting of fractured fragments. System also has at least one fixing bolt adapted for screwing into through opening and into fractured fragment for connecting it with osteosynthesis nail. Through opening is equipped with inner thread adapted for cutting thread on fixation bolts. Fixation bolt has thread-free part of enclosure facilitating thread cutting at different angles by means of inner thread. Such construction reduces formation of abrasion products and sawdust and provides for fixation in cut thread. Said part has lower hardness as compared to central part providing for transmission of immense force.
EFFECT: simplified screwing of osteosynthesis screw into connecting supports at different angles and reduced formation of abrasion products and sawdust during formation of threaded connection.
