FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: cantilever device for treatment of bone fractures in animals consists of interconnected supporting elements in the form of arcs, half-arcs or rings, fixing elements in the form of transosseous smooth and threaded rods and knitting needles, and fastening bolts and nuts. Additionally, a reposition unit was introduced in the form of a repositioning bar and fixation units in the form of cantilever assemblies consisting of spoke-fixing bolts, washers and bushings made with the possibility of mating. The pin-fixator bolt consists of a round head and a threaded part, has a seat for placing a transosseous element in the form of a spoke or rod, and a threadless section between the head and the threaded part of the pin-fixator bolt. The washers are made round and oval. Round washers have a through hole for a spoke-fixing bolt, eccentrically offset relative to the centre of the washer, and contain a seat in the form of a groove with a wedge-shaped profile for transosseous elements. Oval washers with a centralized through hole for a pin-fixing bolt have two wedge-shaped grooves for placing transosseous elements. The cylindrical bushing for mating with the spoke bolt has a through axial hole and a height corresponding to the length of the threadless part of the spoke bolt. The reduction bar contains a fastening groove and a groove for fixing with an adjusting bolt.

EFFECT: provision of rigid fixation and stabilization of bone fragments.
