FIELD: secondary reforming reaction method for producing of gaseous mixtures containing hydrogen and carbon monoxide, for example, synthesis gases used in ammonia and methanol production.

SUBSTANCE: method involves supplying oxygen-containing gas and flow of hydrocarbon-containing gas into combustion chamber to produce gas flow containing carbon monoxide and hydrogen; directing said gas flow through catalyst layer where reforming reaction with water vapors occurs; supplying oxygen-containing gas flow into combustion chamber in the form of plurality of individual streams, which are arranged, with respect to direction of supplying of hydrocarbon-containing flow into combustion chamber, in parallel with one another rather than one above another, said streams having equal flow speed; distributing in combustion chamber plurality of streams of oxygen-containing gas in gaseous hydrocarbon flow while providing mixing in the entire volume of combustion chamber in equal ratio of oxygen-containing gas and respective amounts of hydrocarbon-containing gas. Process is performed with the use of burner having substantially cylindrical supplying pipe of predetermined length, through which oxygen-containing gas flow is supplied into combustion chamber arranged under burner. Burner has at least one oxygen-containing gas collector communicated with end of burner supplying pipe. Plurality of nozzles are distributed in said burner end around perimeter of collector at its lower edge. Said nozzles are not arranged one above another in direction perpendicular to collector lower edge.

EFFECT: reduced technological and operation costs.
