FIELD: uranium hydrometallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to recovering uranium hexafluoride from various-composition solutions involving extraction, reextraction, and heat treatment techniques. Extraction of uranium is carried out with organic compounds or mixtures thereof followed by solid-phase reextraction with 2.0-2.5 M ammonium fluoride solution without preliminary rinsing of extractant. Calcination of ammonium uranyl pentafluoride obtained as solid reextraction product is effected at 400-450оС. The latter product is then fluorinated with gaseous fluorine at 250-270оС.
EFFECT: simplified process and reduced expenses.
