FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to units taking up higher axial loads. Support unit has housing 1, shaft 2 and at least two support sections 7 which are arranged along shaft axis. Each support section has flexible member 14, stop 8 secured on shaft and support 9 secured in housing. Grooves 12, 13 are made on end face surfaces for fitting flexible member from outer surface of stop, and antifriction ring 17 on inner end face surface of stop. Antifriction ring 17 is in contact with antifriction ring 21 installed in holder 20 of support base. Section for preliminary pressing of flexible member is arranged on end of shaft, being made similar to support section and arranged on end of shaft for contact of outer end face surface of its base and outer end face surface of base of last support section. Upper and lower heads with bearings and spacer bushings with compensating washers for locking fixed supports in housing are installed on shaft.
EFFECT: increased load-carrying capacity of support.
