FIELD: localization of the effect of blasting mechanisms, applicable for suppression of fragmentation and high-explosive action minimizing the damage caused by acts of terrorism.
SUBSTANCE: the device has a body made in the form of a shell of elastic material. The body is made in the form of a cap for placing of the blasting mechanisms under the cap. The elastic shell is made of rubber with fillers, a non-metallic reinforcing fabric of the plane or volumetric type in the form of honeycombs is positioned inside the shell. The body has a window sealed by a plug and two rubber handrails for convenient carrying and installation of the device, weighting material placed around the edges of the body for a more tight engagement with the surface, as well as a device preventing actuation of the blasting mechanisms by means of a radio fuse made in the form of a built-in system fed from a portable electric pulser.
EFFECT: provided effective protection of people and structures from fragmentation and high-explosive action at a blast of the blasting mechanisms.
