FIELD: soil science.
SUBSTANCE: estimation of biological activity and soil fertility from enzymatic activity of soils comprises measuring oxygen emission rate when soil is brought into interaction with hydrogen peroxide. The latter, prior to be used, is converted into powdered state by thickening with 38-42 wt % of silica powder.
EFFECT: enabled determination directly under real soil conditions.
