METHOD OF APPLICATION OF POLYMER COAT ON BLANK Russian patent published in 2004 - IPC

FIELD: mechanical engineering; methods of application of polymer coats on blanks.

SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes making at least one groove on surface of blank and placing solder in this groove followed by brazing elastic damping element made in form of spring which is laid in said groove in such position that it projects above surface of blank by no more than 20% of average depth of groove; after brazing, polymer coat is applied by molding. Blank has flat, cylindrical or curvilinear surface. Used as solder is powder-like alloy or powder-like alloy molded in belt; thickness of layer of solder before brazing is 10 to 45% of average depth of groove. Brazing (vacuum brazing for example) is performed at temperature of 400 to 1200 C. Used as polymer coat is fluoroplastic containing additionally coke, chipped glass fiber and/or molybdenum disulfide. Molding is performed at temperature of 200 to 350 C. Damping material, heat-resistant material for example is placed inside spring.

EFFECT: enhances smoothness of coat and enhanced adhesion strength.
